Description
The Lew Electric SH-6262-DA is a shallow, heavy-duty, die cast aluminum, concrete floor box designed for strength, reliability, and ease of installation. This two gang, semi adjustable floor box offers 1 3/16″ of before pour adjustment. With a 2.25″ deep design and offering 13.6 cubic inches of interior space per gang, this floor box provides ample room for electrical wiring and devices. Each side of the box features a 3/4″ threaded opening for convenient wiring access and it ships with a protective concrete cover that safeguards the box during the concrete pour, ensuring a clean, professional finish.
A Lew Electric 1100-DBE Series tile frame (Brass:1102-DBE-B OR Aluminum: 1102-DBE-A) is required for installation of this box and is sold separately. For carpeted installations, in addition to the tile frame, pair the box with the optional CF-1101-DFB Series carpet flange (Brass: CF-1102-DFB OR Aluminum: CF-1102-DFB-A, sold separately), which adds 3/8″ of height to account for carpet and padding. To complete installation, an 1100 series cover is required.
The Lew Electric SH-6262-DA is ETL listed for United States and Canada installations, conforming to UL Standard #514A and CSA Standard #C22.2 #18.
